Position Description
Responsibilities for the Private Equity Associate include the following activities:
Relations and Treasury) and prepare various accounting reports requested by these groups on an on-going basis.

Assist with the preparation of GAAP basis accounting closings for the Partnerships including

Assist with the preparation of quarterly GAAP basis financial statements for the Partnerships

Assist in preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger for quarterly close process i.e.

Assist with data entry in investor database i.e. PEO

Assist in SOX audit work as needed to ensure corporate compliance

Assist with gathering regulatory data for quarterly and annual reporting

Assist with the preparation/administration of the Partnerships’ activities including capital calls and

Assist with the preparation of quarterly reports for partners, including detail roll forward analysis of

Prepare bank wire requests; preparation of weekly and monthly cash reconciliations

Communicate with the Firm's finance, administration and operations areas (such as Investor

Assist with monthly and ad hoc requests

Computer systems to be used: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), PEO, Aexeo and Oracle.
Skills Required
1) Bachelor Degree (Accounting/Finance preferred)
2) Up to 2 years of accounting experience including financial statement preparation experience and
prior experience in Private Equity and/or Hedge Fund area preferred but not required.
3) Shows initiative, self motivated, professional demeanor and desire to learn
4) A team player with strong communication skills
5) Ability to multitask and demonstrate problem solving skills in a fast paced environment
6) Highly motivated and detail oriented individual
7) Well organized, quick learner, flexible and pro-active positive attitude, and strong work ethic
8) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications (strong Excel and database
skills a plus)
