Ritu Sood received her BBA in Human Resources Management from Pace University in May 2006. While attending Pace University, Ritu was a very active student member of NABA. During her four years at Pace, Ritu held various executive board positions within her NABA student chapter. Some of these positions included, President of NABA Pace Chapter, Chair of Chapter Reporting, Assistant Vice President, and Assistant Secretary.
During the 2005 and 2006 NABA fiscal year, Ritu devoted her time to developing her NABA student chapter. In addition, she volunteered on various committees within the professional chapter of NABA NY. Some of these committees included, the New York Student Affairs Committee (SAC) and Professional Development Committee (PDC). As a result of Ritu’s NABA involvement, she has received several awards from both Pace University and the NABA New York Chapter. While a student at Pace, she received the “Movers & Shakers Award,” “Most Active Member Award” and “Active Community Service Award.” In addition, she was recognized as the 2005 and 2006 “Student of the Year” from NABA New York. She also received the “Behind the Scenes Heroes’ Award”, and a NABA New York Scholarship in 2006. Ritu was honored as a "Distinguished Collegian,” NABA’s highest student honor during the NABA National Convention in the year 2005 and 2006. In 2006, Ritu served as a Chairperson of Student Membership for NABA New York and as a Pace Chapter Liaison.
Ritu is currently serving as Director of Community Affairs for NABA NY and Director of Student Member Services for the NABA Eastern Region. Additionally, she continues to provide support to Pace University’s NABA Student Chapter as their Chapter Liaison.
Ritu works as an Associate Recruiter at HSBC Bank and hopes to pursue a career in Employee Relations and Diversity Recruiting. In her spare time, Ritu enjoys Cooking, Reading, Serving the Community, and Traveling.
