NABA NY Financial Literacy Volunteer Request

Working In Support of Education (w!se), an organization dedicated to building financial literacy  and fostering entrepreneurship, is looking for speakers for upcoming seminars.   Speakers will present to students of the High School of Economics and Finance in lower Manhattan (100 Trinity Place, New York City, NY 10006). 

 Seminar Details –

Seminar 1 Title:  The Basics Of Financial Responsibility
Description: What does it mean to be financially responsible? It's a complex question with a complex answer, but at its core is a simple truth: To be financially responsible, you need to live within your means. And to live within your means, you must spend less than you make!
Dates: 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, 5/31, 6/7 (1-2 volunteers per week)
Time: 1:45pm - 240pm

Seminar 2 Title: How Poor Accounting Method Causes Business to Lose Money?
Description: Accounting is an important aspect for any business. It not only helps the business to know their financial status but also gives important data to the enterprise that who is the debtor and creditor of the company, what is the cash balance, bank balance, what are the interest payments etc. Proper Accounting ensures the business can take effective decisions and can have up to date knowledge of their financial commitments.
Dates: 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, 5/31, 6/7 (1-2 volunteers per week)
